The Illex Hagre Minnow 120 F is a hardbait designed specifically for covering large stretches of water quickly in search of active predators along the coast. This floating minnow lure combines a slim profile with a weight distribution built entirely around maximum casting distance. As a result, it remains one of the most dependable saltwater lures in wind and current, letting you reach fish feeding far out.

Action: stable on the retrieve, lively when twitched

The diving lip is tuned for a brisk retrieve. The lure runs steadily with a pronounced rolling action and repeatedly darts off to the side at irregular intervals. It is exactly this irregularity that triggers strikes. Worked with short flicks of the rod tip, the hardbait becomes a twitchbait that imitates the frantic escape of a baitfish.

Casting distance for beach, pier and rocky shore

The aerodynamic shape and a weight of 24 g carry the lure a long way, even into the wind. This makes it one of the most effective sea bass lures for reaching fish hunting far out from the beach, from piers or from rocky stretches of coastline.
