BIM Tackle Silent Claw Patatas: The Compact Perch Lure for Tough Conditions

When perch turn wary, the smallest details decide the outcome. The BIM Tackle Silent Claw Patatas is a creature bait from France, ideally suited to finesse lure fishing in waters under heavy angling pressure. As a perch lure, it stands out with its reduced silhouette.

The Potato Shape as a Distinctive Feature

The stocky, bulky body resembles a small potato, which is where the name "Patatas" comes from. The design deliberately omits large paddle tails and flashy fringes. This understated profile often appears more natural to cautious predators.

Salt and Flavour for Longer Bite Retention

The soft PVC is heavily salted and infused with an intense flavour. Perch often keep the lure in their mouth longer after the take, which can improve your chances of a clean hookset.

Tungsten Insert for Control Over the Fall

A pre-formed opening on the blunt rear end accepts a small tungsten nail sinker. This lets you fine-tune the weight to reach deeper water layers or speed up the sink rate.

Rigging for Texas Rig, Ned Rig and Jika Rig

Rig the lure with the ribbed fin end facing the line. On a Texas rig it slides through any weed on a wide gap hook. On a Ned head it stands upright on the bottom. The Jika rig suits sheet piling and dense woody structure.

Key Advantages at a Glance

• Compact potato shape without large paddle tails
• Heavily salted soft plastic with intense flavour
• Tungsten insert for adjustable weight
• Versatile on Texas, Ned and Jika rigs

Weedless Fishing in Tough Spots

In weed beds, around woody cover or under overhanging trees, the lure stays easy to control. Skipping under branches is also precise with it. Main target species are perch and largemouth bass.
