Illex Speed Vib High Lift Cicadas Lipless Crankbait 22g

Illex Speed Vib High Lift 22g: The Cicada for Fast Bites in Deep Water

The Illex Speed Vib High Lift is a blade bait built for reflex strikes. As a compact metal lure measuring 7.5 cm and weighing 22 g, it sends out hard, high-frequency vibrations on the retrieve that predators pick up from a considerable distance. With its sink rate and a running depth from 3 m, you reach zones where classic hardbaits can no longer fish.

High Lift Technology: Steep Rise, Controlled Fall

What sets this Illex cicada apart is its action. On the pull, the lure rises quickly with intense vibrations. When you ease off, it sinks noticeably slower with a natural tumble. It is exactly this switch between aggressive stimulus and quiet falling phase that triggers the decisive bite from following fish. The rolling action stays stable at any speed, the lure does not tip over and does not twist your line.

Versatile Lipless Crankbait for Perch, Zander, Asp and Pike

Steady retrieve, long sweeps or the lift-and-fall technique along the bottom: the Speed Vib High Lift can be worked in many ways and keeps catching throughout. Among perch lures it excels at quickly covering drop-offs and plateaus, and as one of the most effective zander lures it shines with lift-and-fall over deep channels. For asp it suits a brisk retrieve in open water, and as a pike lure it works reliably along weed edges and structure. Thanks to its compact profile, it can be worked through patchy weed beds without constantly snagging.

Casting Distance and Hardware

The optimised weight distribution delivers long, accurate casts and an action that starts the moment the lure hits the water. Two sharp RB-M #7 treble hooks secure the hookset even on cautious bites. On hard-fished waters in particular, where standard fishing lures fade, this blade bait offers a different stimulus that gets fish striking again.
