Illex Blade Blaster Chatter Bait Bladed Jig - The perch, zander and pike lure

The Illex Blade Blaster is the perfect fusion of a swim jig and chatter bait. It was developed in collaboration with pro staff angler Marc Ptacovsky and product manager Thomas Vogels. The result is a bladed jig that has been specially designed for fishing in shallow areas, weed beds and vegetation-rich areas.

It is based on the proven head shape of the Jungle Blaster swim jig, which glides effortlessly over obstacles and works its way through weeds. In combination with a specially developed metal plate, intense vibrations and attractant signals are created from the moment it hits the water, bringing the voluminous silicone skirt to life.

For use on pike, the skirt is secured with a stainless steel thread binding that can withstand even aggressive pike attacks. An additional eye under the head allows the attachment of a spinner blade or an Illex John Weight to adjust the diving depth.

Depending on conditions, the Blade Blaster can be combined with various trailers. Pin-tail baits such as the Magic Swing Tail (4" oder 5"), shads such as the Magic Slim Shad (4" oder 5") or crab imitations such as the Chunk Craw add extra volume and action.

Of course, the Blade Blaster is lead-free. Although primarily designed for pike, this versatile Illex lure is also effective when fishing for perch, black bass, zander and catfish.
