Zeck Finesse Goby: TPE Softbait for Perch and Zander
The Zeck Finesse Goby is a lifelike goby imitation designed for slow fishing along the bottom. Zeck developed this softbait together with Johannes Dietel. He tested it on numerous trips over many months and fished it with great success. With the Finesse Goby, Zeck uses TPE instead of PVC for the first time.
- Goby imitation made from elastic, buoyant TPE
- Stands up on the bottom and stays enticing during pauses
- Subtle micro-vibrations from pectoral fins and tail
- Offset slots and offset seam for weedless rigging
- Developed and field-tested with Johannes Dietel
Why TPE suits a goby imitation
TPE is highly elastic and floats. When the Zeck Goby rests on the bottom on a jig, its body lifts up and keeps tempting fish even during pauses. The elastic material also withstands far more bites than many conventional soft plastic lures and lasts accordingly longer. In addition, TPE is considered a more environmentally friendly alternative to PVC. A shrimp scent is already built in.
Subtle action as perch lures and zander lures
The shape and position of the fins create fine micro-vibrations with even the slightest movement. This understated action appeals to wary perch and zander alike. Short hops across the bottom as well as slow dragging and pulling are particularly effective.
Versatile rigging
This Zeck softbait is versatile to rig and works on a Ned jig, rubber jig, a classic jig head and the Rushka. Thanks to the offset slots and the offset seam on top, you can also fish it weedless on an offset hook through snags and cover.

Storage advice
Never store TPE lures together with PVC lures. To keep their shape over time, it is best to store them in the supplied blister pack. If they lie bent in a tackle box for a long time, they deform quickly.
