Jenzi Wax Worms XXL with Flavour Soft Plastic Lures

Jenzi Tasty Gums Wax Worms XXL: artificial larvae with flavour for the trout area

Wax Worms are among the most proven baits on trout lakes. With the artificial wax worms XXL from Jenzi, you get this tried and tested bait shape as durable soft plastic lures that you can use at any time. You need neither a fridge nor live bait. The 40 mm imitations are flavoured and float, so they stay in the fish's field of vision.

Lifelike shape with scent and flavour

They have a segmented body, fine legs and a dark head. This makes them look like real wax worms. In addition, flavourings are worked into the material. Depending on the colour, the lures smell of cheese (Cheese Flavor) or garlic (Garlic Flavor). The soft material feels natural when the fish takes the bait. This can make the decisive difference, especially with cautiously biting trout.

Buoyant for flexible rigs

The larvae are designed to float, which makes them suitable for flexible rigs. On a sbirolino or a bottom rig, they hover above the bottom and remain clearly visible there. They are easy to thread onto a small hook. You can also present the larva on a light jig head. The buoyancy then lifts the tail end enticingly upwards. This makes these trout lures just as versatile in the trout area as in streams or natural lakes.

Six colours for changing conditions

Three colours carry the cheese flavour: natural with glitter, Lumi and red. The yellow, green and orange colours are garlic flavoured. The natural shades are well suited to clear water and heavily fished waters. The strong signal colours show their strength in murky water or with active fish. Besides trout, perch also readily take the artificial larvae.
