For optimum results, we recommend using a high-quality rod with a length of 185-220 cm and a casting weight of 1-6 g, which offers both the sensitivity for gentle bites and the power for fighting large fish. A size 2000-3000 reel with precise drag ideally complements the setup. High-quality braided or monofilament lines with a diameter of 0.06-0.08 mm or 0.12-0.16 mm ensure a reliable connection between angler and fish.
