For a perfectly balanced setup, we recommend a rod 185 to 220 cm in length with a casting weight of 1 to 6 g. It reliably absorbs runs during the fight and transmits the slightest bites directly to your hand. A fixed spool reel in size 2000 to 3000 with a finely adjustable drag is the ideal complement to the system. When choosing line, braided main lines between 0.04 and 0.08 mm and monofilament lines with a diameter of 0.10 to 0.16 mm have proven effective.
