Hearty Rise Jigs Deep Slow Jigging II Silver Purple 20g

Hearty Rise Jig for Trophy Fish from Great Depths

The Hearty Rise Jigs from the "Deep Slow Jigging II" series are premium saltwater fishing jigs designed for deep waters and strong currents. Whether along steep edges, in the fjords of Norway or at tropical reefs: this slow jig reaches depths of 100 to over 300 metres and attracts trophy predators.

Light Versions for Shallower Waters

Alongside the heavy models, the Hearty Rise Jig is also available as a microjig in 12g and 20g, in the colours Silver Purple and Silver Blue Green Pink. These light versions are designed for coastal areas and shallower depths where heavy weight is not required. There they are well suited for mackerel, sea bass or cod, bringing the slow jig principle to shallower water.

Key Features at a Glance

• Composite construction of stainless steel and lead for weight and stability
• Hydrodynamic profile for fast sinking to the bottom
• Erratic action with minimal rod movements
• Fluorescent patterns for a glowing effect at depth
• Heavy versions up to 450g

Construction for Fast Sinking

The outer wings are made of robust stainless steel, while a heavy lead core in the centre provides the necessary weight. The elongated, hydrodynamic profile brings the jig precisely into the strike zone, even in strong drift. A recess in the lower section stabilises the jig during retrieve and helps prevent over-spinning.

Lively Action with Gentle Movements

Even small rod movements set the jig in motion. During the sinking phases it shows a slow, wobbling and irregular action that tempts lethargic bottom predators to strike.

Target Species in Cold and Warm Waters

In cold waters such as Norway, Iceland or the North Sea, the lure primarily targets halibut, cod, pollock, ling and redfish. In tropical waters it catches groupers, amberjacks and snapper, and occasionally tuna. Especially with trophy fish, the robust construction shows its strength.

Fluorescent Patterns for Dark Water

Many versions feature fluorescent patterns. A brief exposure to a UV lamp before lowering the lure noticeably enhances the glow effect in dark deep water. Get your Hearty Rise Jig now for your next deep-sea trip.
