Catfish can be particularly effectively outwitted with artificial lures that generate intense, high-frequency pressure waves. This is precisely what the Zeck Cat Crank is designed to do. Despite its compact 7.5 cm body length, it generates significantly stronger vibrations than larger lures, hitting exactly the right spot to trigger an aggressive response from catfish.

Robust construction for tough fights.

Unlike many commercially available crankbaits, which were originally developed for perch or zander, the Cat Crank is designed specifically for catfish fishing. The continuous stainless steel shaft ensures that even large catfish cannot destroy the bait. In addition, the built-in HD split rings and Pro-Treble XS treble hooks can withstand maximum loads. Complex modifications involving reinforced snap rings or additional leader material are now unnecessary.

The Cat Crank boasts precise running characteristics in both rivers and lakes.

The Cat Crank's body is deliberately narrow. Combined with the wide diving blade, this results in a tight, stable run that works reliably even in strong currents. The crankbait reaches its running depth remarkably quickly, enabling effective bait guidance after just a few turns of the reel.

When reeling in, a steady retrieve is recommended. Occasional contact with the bottom is desirable, as this creates additional stimulation. The Cat Crank is also effective in mid-water when catfish are actively feeding.

Floating and silent.

As a floating wobbler, the Cat Crank rises slowly when the reel is stopped. This behaviour can be used to guide the bait over obstacles or to incorporate short pauses. Its silent running makes it particularly suitable for clear waters or situations where the fish are biting cautiously.
