The Whopper Plopper by River2Sea is a surface lure that makes a distinctive plopping sound
The Whopper Plopper from River2Sea is one of the best-known topwater lures. Its rotating tail section creates the distinctive plopping sound that makes it so appealing to predatory fish. The Whopper Plopper performs reliably and provokes spectacular surface strikes, whether retrieved slowly or reeled in quickly.
Which size of Whopper Plopper is suitable for which target fish?
The range covers everything from perch to trophy catfish.
- The Whopper Plopper 190 is ideal for catfish. Hardly any other surface lure entices catfish to strike so reliably.
- The Whopper Plopper 130 and 110 models are ideal for catching both catfish and pike. They are ideal for targeting large predators on the surface.
- The Whopper Plopper 90 is ideal for asp. Its compact size and aggressive plopping action make it perfect for hunting these fast surface predators.
- The Whopper Plopper 75 and 60 are ideal for perch. They are small enough to lure out wary perch and loud enough to attract them.
