Illex Rerange 95 MR SP Crankbait 10,9g

Illex Rerange 95 MR SP: The Medium Runner for the Second Water Layer

With the Rerange 95 MR SP, Illex adds a model to the Rerange family that opens up deeper zones without losing the characteristic darting movements of the series. The 9,5 cm long and 10.9 g minnow lure works suspending between 1.5 and 2 m deep.

Diving Lip with Medium Runner Geometry

The matched diving lip with medium runner geometry brings the Illex lure to its working depth after a few turns of the handle and keeps it stable there. Whether a brisk retrieve, fine twitching or hard jerks: the action stays controlled, even when you change the pace abruptly.

Long Casting System for Covering Water Quickly

A long casting system shifts the mass rearwards during the cast and so allows you to cover water quickly. The result is long, accurate casts that hold their line even into the wind. In this way you search edges, groyne fields and extensive shallow areas within a short time.

Rolling Action and Light Reflections

The rolling action combines sideways darting with strong flash. During the pause the jerkbait sits balanced in the water and gives hesitant fish a long moment to take hold. Active predators, by contrast, respond to quick sequences of strikes with short stops.

Use as a Perch Lure, Zander Lure and Pike Lure

As a perch lure, the Rerange 95 MR plays to its strengths around rip-rap and obstacles. As a zander lure you guide it over channels and current edges, and as a pike lure flat over weed beds. In brackish water it is also an option for sea bass. The lure is fitted with size #6 trebles and is available in five finishes, from the natural Threadfin Shad to the high-contrast Yellow Perch.
