Illex Master Crank 47 MR Crankbait

Illex Master Crank 47 MR: The Floating Crankbait for the Middle Water Layers

The Illex Master Crank 47 MR succeeds exactly where shallow models no longer reach and deep models already dive too far down. As a medium runner, this crankbait works reliably to a depth of around 6 ft (1.8 m), covering precisely the zone where predatory fish gather most often throughout the day.

With a length of 1.85 in (47 mm) and a weight of 0.23 oz (6.5 g), this lure brings a compact, action-packed silhouette into the water. Its pronounced wobble-and-roll action creates a lively swimming pattern that tempts perch, pike, trout, chub and asp alike. As one of the most reliable perch lures, it works just as well on a steady retrieve as it does with stop-and-go pauses, during which the floating model rises gently and provokes additional bites.

Stable Action Along Edges and Structure

These Illex lures truly come into their own along edges, undercut banks and over submerged structure. The diving lip ensures the bait reaches its running depth quickly and tracks true, even at a faster retrieve during power fishing.

A Versatile Crankbait for Every Water

As a trout bait on rivers, as one of the go-to pike lures on lakes or as effective asp lures in flowing water, the Master Crank 47 MR is a versatile hardbait for the widest range of waters and all seasons. The high-quality Jackall Genuine Treble RB Medium hooks in size 8 ensure a secure connection to the fish.
