The Illex Flat Bone Clicker is a high-quality surface lure from the Illex Lures series, specially developed for targeting large pike. Measuring 22 cm in length and weighing 48 g, this big bait is one of the most effective artificial lures for wary predators in waters with a lot of structure.
Unique action for challenging conditions
Its multi-part construction, complete with an elastomeric tail segment and an integrated diving lip, enables a special guiding technique. Unlike classic stickbaits, the Flat Bone Clicker can be presented in an almost stationary position. It maintains its characteristic walking the dog action in confined spaces without changing its position significantly.
This behaviour makes the jointed lure ideal for targeting pike under pressure or hiding deep within structures such as water lily fields, dead wood, and jetties. When retrieved linearly, the lure develops an intense rolling action that can activate even passive fish at greater depths.
High-quality components and sophisticated design
The two integrated Owner treble hooks, in sizes #1 and #2, offer reliable hooking capacity, even for large fish. The floating body operates at depths of 0 to 0.3 metres and automatically maintains its position on the surface after stopping.
