How the Smart LED Bite Detection Works

At rest, the transparent rod tip glows a steady green. As soon as a fish takes the bait and deflects the tip, the electronics switch over automatically and the LEDs flash red. You will notice this colour change instantly, even from several metres away, for example when fishing static at dusk or during the night. For power, you can use either a pin battery or a suitable rechargeable cell. This lets you decide for yourself whether you prefer disposable batteries or a rechargeable solution.

Blank, Guides and Handle

The backbone of this Jenzi spinning rod is a blank made from 24T carbon. It combines low weight with ample power reserves for the fight and reliably transmits even subtle signals to your hand. High-quality guides keep the line running with little friction and support long, controlled casts. The cork handle with EVA sections sits comfortably in the hand, even in cold and wet conditions. A screw-down reel seat holds your reel securely and without any play.

Four Jenzi T-Rex Models for Your Waters

The Jenzi T-Rex LumiStrike is available in four versions. The 2.85 m model with a casting weight of 15-75 g is suited to lighter rigs on lakes and canals. The 3.00 m version with 25-85 g covers medium distances. The more powerful 3.00 m rod with 45-100 g also handles heavier leads and baits with confidence. With the 3.30 m rod and a casting weight of 45-100 g, you can reach more distant spots on large waters and rivers.
