Bullseye X-Series Rig & Jig Spinning Rod 2,70m 9-36g

Bullseye X-Series Rig & Jig 270: Precise Lure Control for Zander and Perch

The Bullseye X-Series Rig & Jig is made for anglers who do not simply cast soft plastics, jigs and modern rig presentations but work them with intent. At a length of 270 cm and a casting weight of 9 to 36 g, this Bullseye spinning rod covers exactly the range in which most zander and perch are caught.

Length that makes the difference from the bank

The 270 cm give you the leverage you need for long casts and keep the line clear of rock armour, weed and groyne heads. The 50.2 cm handle with a rear handle of 33.5 cm allows clean two-handed casts, while the Fuji VSS 16 reel seat provides direct blank contact at the index finger. At 143 g the rod stays comfortable to handle even after several hours of jigging.

T1100 blank with X-Fast action

The T1100 blank with X-Fast action transmits bottom contact and soft takes at high resolution. The X-Fast action works in the tip alone, so you feel the lure sinking cleanly and pick up tentative plucks as well. Behind it sits a backbone with a power factor of 5.32 that drives the hook set home at distance and keeps even large fish under control during the fight.

Equipment built for continuous use

Eight running guides plus tip guide from the Fuji K series with stainless steel frames and Alconite inserts run braid smoothly and prevent line slap. The two-piece construction with a central joint results in a transport length of 139 cm. A neoprene rod sleeve is included, in which you can transport the rod with the reel still mounted.

Why this zander rod is worth it

• Specialised in jig and rig presentation, not intended as an all-round rod
• 270 cm for long casts and lure control at distance from the bank
• X-Fast action for fine bite detection on the drop
• Power in reserve for setting the hook at long range
• Works as a perch rod in the lower and as a zander rod in the upper casting weight range
