Jenzi T-Rex BR Free Spool Reel with line

Jenzi T-Rex BR Free Spool Reel with Line: Ready to Fish for Carp, Ledgering and Deadbaiting

The Jenzi T-Rex BR is a robust fixed spool reel for anglers who value reliability on the bank without losing sight of their budget. Whether you are targeting carp, fishing ledger rigs or presenting a deadbait to predators, this fishing reel with free spool gives you the technology you need at a very fair price.

Free Spool for Controlled Bites

At the heart of the reel is its integrated free spool system. When a fish takes the bait, it can pull line from the spool without feeling resistance and without dragging the rod off the rest. When fishing for carp or deadbaiting for pike and zander, this gives you the time to deal with the bite calmly. You set the free spool tension steplessly via the rear drag and adjust it to current, wind and target species. This makes the T-Rex BR a carp runner reel that is just as versatile when predator fishing.

Solid Engineering for Everyday Fishing

The reel runs on 2+1 bearings: two ball bearings ensure smooth operation, while an additional roller bearing acts as an anti-reverse and prevents the handle from spinning back on the strike. The 5.2:1 gear ratio delivers enough power for heavy rigs and strong fish while still retrieving line quickly. The robust construction is designed for regular use.

Pre-Spooled and Ready to Use

The free spool reel comes already loaded with line. You can mount it straight out of the box and start fishing, with no need to buy and spool extra line. This also makes it a practical addition alongside your existing carp reels when you want to expand your setup with another rod.

Two Sizes for Different Applications

Size 4000 holds 175 m of 0.30 mm line or 130 m of 0.35 mm and is well suited to ledgering and fishing at medium range. Size 6000 takes 140 m of 0.45 mm or 115 m of 0.50 mm and is the right choice if you are looking for a carp fishing reel for longer distances, heavy leads or snaggy waters.
