The ParaMag RX Brake System
The ParaMag RX magnetic brake system is the heart of the Lews Speed Spool baitcasting reel. It offers consistent spool balance, powerful braking performance and precise adjustment options. This significantly reduces backlash, and even long casts can be executed with high accuracy. The ergonomically recessed drag scale sits comfortably in the hand.
Smooth running and stability
The P2 Super Pinion support bearing system ensures precise alignment of the drive pinion and stable power transmission. The 8-bearing system with double-shielded stainless steel bearings guarantees smooth operation throughout the reels entire service life. The one-piece aluminium frame with lightweight graphite side plates forms a solid foundation for long-term, reliable use.
Power and control
The hard-anodised aluminium speed gears transmit the cranking power with minimal loss and retain their quality even after intensive use. The carbon drag system delivers up to 9kg of maximum drag force, giving you the control you need when fighting strong fish. The Knot Slot also makes it much easier to secure the line to the spool.
