With the Delphin Bomb set, you always have the right leader to hand when predator fishing. The 60 ready-tied Delphin fluorocarbon leaders cover three common lengths and breaking strains. This allows you to adapt quickly to the water, lure and target species on the bank.

Three Lengths, Three Breaking Strains, One Set

The set contains 20 leaders each in lengths of 30 cm with 9 kg, 35 cm with 13 kg and 45 cm with 18 kg breaking strain. Each leader has a swivel at one end and a snap at the other. Delphin has matched the components to the line strength. The 30 cm version comes with a size 6 swivel and a size 1 snap, the 35 cm version with a size 5 swivel and a size 2 snap, and the 45 cm version with a size 4 swivel and a size 2 snap.

Why Fluorocarbon?

The Delphin Bomb leaders are made entirely of fluorocarbon. This material refracts light much like water, which makes it barely visible underwater. In clear water and with wary fish, this is a noticeable advantage. Fluorocarbon is also considerably more abrasion-resistant than monofilament line. It withstands contact with rocks, mussel beds and the rough mouths of perch and zander. Its low stretch ensures direct contact with the lure and a clean hook set.

The Right Leader for Every Target Species

As a perch leader, the fine 30 cm version with 9 kg breaking strain is ideal for soft plastics, small hardbaits and spinners. As a zander leader, the 35 cm version with 13 kg offers a good balance between discretion and reserves when jigging. The strong 45 cm version is suited to larger lures. A tip from practice: fluorocarbon is abrasion-resistant but not bite-proof. Use it as a pike leader only where pike are expected purely as by-catch. For targeted pike fishing, we recommend steel or titanium leaders.
