You know the problem: you fish your favorite soft bait close to obstacles or through weedy areas and suddenly a light hanger and your soft bait tears off the hook. Or a predator inhales your bait and somehow he manages to tear it off. To prevent these problems Hideup has developed the HU Ami Stopper.
These small, intertwined metal straps are simply pushed up to the height in the rubber fish on which you want to place your hook. Then just pull the hook through the rubber and through the metal band. This gives the hook a larger area to which the force can be distributed under heavy load, preventing it from tearing out.
The overhanging ends can easily be cut off with scissors. Below you find a video tutorial.
