Dynamite Baits Wowsers Hi Bridz Wafters: balanced dumbells for wary coarse fish

On heavily fished waters the hookbait decides between a take and a blank session. The Wowsers are critically balanced dumbells that sit hovering just above the bottom on a hair or a spike. As soon as a fish draws at them, the bait follows into the mouth without any noticeable resistance.

Why balanced wafters work so well

A standard boilie lies heavily on the bottom, a pop-up stands conspicuously above it. Wafters sit exactly in between: they almost cancel out the weight of the hook and therefore behave like a natural feed particle among your groundbait. This is the principle behind wafters fishing, and fish that have already been hooked several times accept the presentation far more readily than a heavy bait.

Two colour combinations with their own flavour profile

The dumbells are available in the colour combinations pink/white and yellow/orange. The high visibility shades stand out clearly from conventional wafters and remain easy to see in coloured water or over a dark bottom. Each version carries its own blend of flavours and essential oils, which is released continuously into the surrounding water.

Rigs and applications

In 5 mm and 7 mm these Dynamite Baits Wafters suit fine hooks and can be pushed onto bait spikes, mounted on a hair or held in place with a bait band. They come into their own on the method feeder rig, where the hookbait sits right beside the feed and releases the moment a fish draws it in. As a carp bait they prove themselves on a short hooklink, while as a bream bait and tench bait the smaller 5 mm version is the stronger choice.

The key points at a glance

• Critically balanced for resistance free bait pickup
• High visibility shades that set them apart from standard wafters
• Individual flavour and oil blend for each colour version
• Designed for pressured waters and correspondingly cautious stocks
• Versatile on spike, hair or bait band

If you regularly experience liners or missed contacts on your water, a change to this presentation is worth considering. The Wowsers from Dynamite Baits give you a hookbait that is eye catching enough to draw quick attention while behaving discreetly in the water.
