The side-planer (commonly known as planer-board) is for trolling from a boat. This provides the use of more rods, covering a larger span of the water. When trolling it keeps the bait away from the boat. Two models for the left and the right side. An adjustable knob provides setting the desired strength of the release mechanism. When the fish bites, the line is released from the clip which signals the beginning of the drill.
Special feature 13 cm:
With this model, the line is attached with a clip and a ball-bearing system. A stopper is attached above the bait/swivel which prevents the side-planer from slipping toward the fish.
