The Stagger Wide is the much wider and flatter version of the Stagger Original. It was designed by Hideo Yoshida, one of Japan's most respected bait designers.
The big, flat body sinks like a sluggish pendulum towards the ground in the break between twitches and gives time to big predators to notice it. The unique, well thought-out shape produces 1.5 - 2 times stronger vibrations than conventional soft lures. The very dense and yet elastic material mixture is edible for fish and the incorporated attractant attracts all predators, whether perch, zander, pike, chub or even catfish.
The Stagger Wide fishes well in and around obstacles and overgrown, weedy sections, as it rarely gets stuck thanks to its flat, rounded shape.

Rigging instruction

Due to the special shape of the Stagger Wide, there is a lot to consider when hooking. Thus, for example, the flat side is the top of the rubber fish on which the hook should protrude minimally from the rubber after hooking. The correct procedure can be seen on the following pictures.

Mounting options

The special Stagger Wide can be fished in many different ways. The most common and some extraordinary methods are presented here.

• 

  Perhaps the most classic of all rigs to achieve a faster sinking and wider casts. With the Jighead Rig, the Stagger Wide sinks down irregularly and flanking.

• 

  With the sensitive Carolina Rig you can fish especially well between cabbage and obstacles when you lure the Stagger Wide weedless.

• 

  You will get wide casts with the Texas Rig, as the lead runs freely on the line and bait and lead are close together in the cast. Perfect for ground-level fishing.

• 

  The Dropshot Rig in cooperation with the Stagger Wide is particularly suitable for fishing for careful predators, as bait and lead are separated and the fish will not feel any noticeable resistance when inhaling the bait.

  The assembly presented in the above hook-up manual. The No-Sinker Rig consists only of the Stagger Wide and an Offset Hook, that makes it easy to imitate a very realistic swimming movement with easy twitching.

  Japanese jig assembly with lead and hook on a single snap ring. The Jika Rig can be fished over ground if you jerk the assembly with raised tail over the ground.
