The Mag Squad promptly became a "must-have" jerkbait for demanding tournament pros, especially among the US bass fishing elite. The great demand for the larger model encouraged Illex to develop a 128 mm sized one which Illex has called the "Mag Squad". Despite its large size the lure still retains a slender profile. Very stable in action and responds well to many different rod movements. The sound and vibration attraction has been carefully balanced with a combination of metal and glass rattles to draw predators' curiosity.
