Normally shad type baits are twitched back or pulled from side to side in a darting action. Seiji Kato realised that fish will also take a shad bait when it is worked back very fast so he developed the Soul Shad designed to stay balanced even when retrieved fast. The lure has an erratic swimming action and can also be worked back in either twitching or jerking style. The weight transfer in the lure is perfect for long distance casting.
