The Baby DeraBall is a mix of shad and crankbait, a hybrid soft lure, type: swimbait.
The compact, round design and the relatively high weight allow long casts, but also skipping around obstacles, under overhanging trees or jetties is child's play with the Baby DeraBall. Simply cranked, it runs in a narrow path, wagging frenetically with its tail and provides neat water displacement, irresistible to predators lurking on obstacles. This bait was actually designed to fish shallow-water regions, but just do not be deterred by putting a freewheeling Tungsten bullet in front of it to run deeper regions.
The ingenious line-thru system allows the bait to slide up the line after the bite when the ultra-sharp triplet has caught. The treble has two nickel-titanium spikes to fix the hook in the bait.
