FeelFree Overdrive - the new engine system for your FeelFree kayak.
This spring FeelFree will release its eagerly-awaited electronic and pedal-powered engine. It will be available for all FeelFree models with an integrated sonar pod. This applies to the models Lure 11.5, the bigger 13.5 and the new Lure 2 Tandem.
The pedal unit, made from an extremely durable aluminium cast, embodies the backbone of the complete Overdrive System and acts as installation frame for all available components and gets mounted on the sonar pod notch. All needed installation components are included in the delivery content, inclusively the seat adjuster. With the pedal engine it's finally possible to entirely concentrate on fishing, because the paddle isn't needed anymore. Even backing up is possible since the crank can be pedaled in the opposite direction.
The optionally available e-motor perfectly fits into the notch of the pedal engine and you can start driving without any physical effort immediately with a maximum thrust of 40lbs (0.5 HP). On the integrated LCD display performance data like speed and state of charge can be red out and with the included cable remote the speed can be regulated manually, while the direction can be changed with the also included hand steering.
Battery and a fitting charger have to be purchased separately - battery box, cables and a kill switch are included.
The whole system can be lowered and lifted with help of the spring machanic and in the lifted position it lines up precisely with the hull belly what simplifies the transportation of your fishing kayak a lot.

The FeelFree Overdrive Motor unit caters with a maximum thrust of 40lbs (ca. 2,5 PS) for the needed power to transport you quite quick over the water without spending valuable power for treading.
The FeelFree Overdrive cable remote enables an infinitely variable speed control and can be mounted on the Uni-Track System.
The FeelFree Overdrive Hand steering is absolutely needed for controlling the rudder, because the steering pedals can't be installed while the Overdrive Pedal unit is mounted on the sonar pod and so a manual steering is required.
The FeelFree Overdrive Rudder is required for steering your kayak and can be retrofitted easily, if your kayak doesn't has it yet. Together with the hand steering the rudder makes up the steering system for the Overdrive System.
The FeelFree Overdrive Trunk made of premium plastics is the perfect and secure carrying solution for your Overdrive System if not installed on your kayak.
The FeelFree Overdrive Seat Adjuster is an unalterable accessoire for making the use of the Overdrive System as comfortable as possible, because now the Gravity Seat can be adjusted in a way that the distance to the pedals is perfect for you.
