The spoon is a fully assembled rig with two hooks (swivel, hook, spinner-blade, line, and illuminated beads). The varied colors and the illuminated beads increase the fishs aggressiveness. Allow the spoon to sink a slight lift of the rod-tip and 2-3 cranks on the reel and repeat. The created dust-cloud gets the fishes attention and produces a reaction.
