The side-planer (commonly known as planer-board) is for trolling from a boat. This provides the use of more rods, covering a larger span of the water. When trolling it keeps the bait away from the boat. Two models for the left and the right side. An adjustable knob provides setting the desired strength of the release mechanism. When the fish bites, the line is released from the clip which signals the beginning of the drill.
Special Feature 19 cm:
The larger model (19 cm) is equipped with a signal flag. Suitable for stronger currents and also when used in flowing water (for example Catfish angling). The side-planer is attached to the line with a swivel and clip.
