Corn has been one of the most trusted baits in coarse fishing for decades. Delphin has reimagined this classic and developed the CorneX, a soft plastic corn bait that replicates real corn kernels with stunning accuracy while offering key advantages over natural corn.
Material and Effectiveness
The CorneX is made from a flexible, buoyant material that faithfully reproduces the shape and appearance of real corn kernels. As a soft plastic lure, it absorbs flavours exceptionally well, noticeably increasing its appeal to fish. For maximum attraction, all kernels are soaked in an aromatic marinade. The packs are available in several proven flavours: Garlic (white), Squid (pink), Honey-Peach (orange) and Corn-Pineapple (yellow).
Applications
As a carp bait, the CorneX performs equally well in feeder fishing and ground fishing. Its ideal shape and flexible material ensure a secure hold on the hook, minimising the risk of losing the bait to small fish bites. Thanks to its capillary action, it works brilliantly as a standalone corn bait or combined with sinking boilies. The latter method in particular tempts even the most cautious fish. The CorneX has also proven itself time and again as a bream bait.
A practical advantage of this soft plastic corn is its reusability. After fishing, simply remove it from the rig and place it back in the container.
